Canyon Lake Golf Course & Country Club

Canyon Lake's private Golf Course is a par-71, 6000-yard course that offers all of the challenges that any longer course might offer. This picturesque, tree-lined, 75-acre course has reachable greens and trimmed fairways and could appear at first to be a low score paradise for golfers.

However, its uphill, downhill and sideways lies make the course more imposing and challenging. With tight fairways and relatively small greens, the course takes on the look of more traditional courses and is a day's work for any golfer who enjoys playing in pleasant surroundings.

The course is well-manicured and has a wide variety of trees, including olive, palm, eucalyptus, fruitless mulberry and pines, which make play much tougher and enjoyable at the same time. Canyon Lake is also the home course for both local high schools.

Men's Golf Club

The Men's Golf Club was organized in 1971. The club is affiliated with the Southern California Golf Association, which computes all official handicaps, organizes inter-club team play and mails out its publication, Fore Magazine, to club members.

Every Wednesday throughout the year is Men's Club Day and a tournament is held with a shotgun start. The Men's Club also sponsors 11 other weekend tournaments during the year, including member-guest, Stag Day, member-member, Presidents Cup and club championship, to name just a few.

The Men's Club invites all male property owners to share the enjoyment of golf at the course. Membership applications are available at the Pro Shop at the Country Club. The Pro Shop number is 951-244-6841 Ext. 820
