The Waterski Capital of
Southern California!

The Canyon Lake Ski Club was formed as a non-profit organization in 1968 and in 1971 the club put on its first ski show for the property owners of Canyon Lake. The popularity of the ski show grew so fast that the skiers were invited to organize and perform a ski show for the dedication of the London Bridge at Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Barefooting, slalom, trick & jump have become regular events in each of the club tournaments. The Ski Club hosts five annual tournaments sanctioned by the USA Waterski Association that also include jump in May, July and September.

The primary purpose of the club is to promote the sport of waterskiing. Activities of the club encompass promoting and organizing ski tournaments, maintaining beautifying and policing the North Ski Area and the Jump Lake, performing ski shows, organizing Breakfast with Santa, sponsoring Polar Bear Day, supplying ski boats and drivers for the Community Participation Day and keeping with the non-profit theme, donating excess funds to the development of Canyon Lake.
